The Proto Plank is our most affordable performance skimboard, featuring a flex layup and our most popular shape. This board is equipped with durable HPL top and bottom sheets and a 100% North American Poplar core. Please note that these boards do not come with foam traction top, so you will need to purchase traction foam or surf wax separately for better grip.

The Proto Plank comes in three different sizes: Small (39.4"x18.75), Medium (41.4"x19.6), and Large (43.4"x20.5"). We recommend the small size for riders weighing under 125 lbs, the medium size for riders weighing under 160 lbs, and the large size for riders weighing under 200 lbs. Now you can choose the size that best suits your weight and skill level.
